4WD Out ‘n’ Back weekends
Enjoy a whole weekend of 4
wheel driving and camping under the stars. This weekend of fun and 4WD
training offers lessons in safe and environmentally-friendly off-road
motoring. The training caters for novices and advanced skills on a variety
of bush and sand tracks. Bring the family for this bush-to-beach experience.

Treasure
within the Trees
Gather with your friends
and family for a car-rally-style adventure. Look for clues as you drive
along discovering interesting facts about the forest, then finish at a
mystery location. This is not a race. It’s a quiz, a driving treasure hunt
and a great morning out. Prizes will be given for best clue collectors
within the times specified. Great fun for all the family, with special
‘kids only’ activity sheets to keep them occupied along the way. Bring
along a picnic lunch to have at the end of your adventure!

Abseils
Hear the story and get a
close-up view of the ancient rocks that make up the Darling Scarp. Abseil
down sheer rock cliffs, then climb hand-over-hand
back up the rope. Don’t worry though, all of this is under the guidance of
skilled abseiling leaders. This activity offers you thrills and skills you
may never have experienced before. Catch the last rays of a summer sun
setting over a spectacular city scape. Escape the everyday routine. Group

of white water rapids on the Avon River in Funyaks – a type of inflatable
canoe. You’ll have two or three turns at this adventurous activity so be
prepared to do some walking back up the river and to get wet!

Paddle
the Pools
There’s no better way to
enjoy Walyunga National Park than to canoe the tranquil Boongarup Pool of
the Avon River and enjoy the peace and spectacular views of this Park. This
guided walk and canoe tour is for all the family plus it’s a great
introduction to canoeing. There is also lots of fun for the children with a
great water slide!

Climb aboard! This is an
exciting rafting experience and a great way to see the Avon River. With six
people to a boat, you’ll raft from Walyunga to the mighty Bells Rapids.
