Magical History Tours 

Mundaring Weir History Tour

Discover the rich history of the Mundaring Weir area with this guided bus tour. The tour will drive around the area with stops to give you time to wander through the rose gardens and try your hand at cross-cut sawing in Fred Jacoby Park. You’ll get to stroll along the magnificent Mundaring Weir wall with your guide and see the old pump house in all its historic glory. Finally relax over a cuppa at the historic Mundaring Weir Hotel and soak up the ambience of a time past.

Cost: $27.80 ad  $22 chn $110 fam

Tunnel By Candlelight

Join in a conductor’s tour of the railway history in John Forrest National Park. Search for remnants of the old railway line as the history of its construction and days of operation unfold. Hear the awesome stories surrounding the one hundred year old Swan View  tunnel and then experience the eerie atmosphere of walking the tunnel by candlelight. Catch an amazing view of Perth at night as you stroll back for a light supper and cuppa to end your night.

Halloween Special

If you dare, enter the tunnel on the blackest night of the year and experience a hoot of a Halloween. This is not for the faint-hearted. Even our guides asked for danger money. It’s advised you dress up in Halloween costume to fool any ghosts lingering there. We’ll give prizes for the scariest and the funniest costume. Afterwards you can join us for a special lamplight supper and a spooky story-telling competition. Places limited – book early.
