Ten
ways to spend quality time with you child this month:
1.
Put on your gumboots and jackets after the next
rain shower and go stomping in puddles.
2.
Find a big puddle or streaming gutter along the way and float some twig boats.
3.
Build a bonfire, toast marshmallows, and tell
stories.
4.
Make a cubby out of boxes, chairs, tables,
blankets, etc.
5.
Visit Sci-Tech/ Museum of Science for some serious
play and button pushing.
6.
Make a list of all the impending birthdays and
start to make some cards.
7.
Go to the library for story-telling or simply to
choose some books together.
8.
Plant some vegetables. If you don’t have much
space pots will be fine, just be selective!
9.
Find some chalk and play hopscotch.
10.
Ask your child what they would like to
do! And try to do it!!
