ARALUEN
SPRING FESTIVAL
The
Araluen Botanic Park is alive with a blaze of spring colour until 1st
October in what they claim is the biggest and best springtime festival
yet.
Pack
yourself a picnic and welcome the Spring by wandering the magnificent
gardens at Araluen, featuring masses of spring bulbs, including Daffodils,
Jonquils, Bluebells, Hyacinths, and annuals. And, the largest ever
planting of their famous Tulip display.
KELMSCOTT
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL JAZZ BAND
The
Kelmscott Senior High School Jazz band will be performing in the Park on
Sunday 30th September from 12pm - 2pm. They will have a sausage sizzle on
sale between 11am - 2pm. Come along and enjoy this performance.

ART, MUSIC & SPECIAL ACTIVITIES - Not to be missed is the Armadale
Society of Artist exhibition daily through September. Experience the
beautiful keyboard music of Robert J Boyd live each weekend.
PARKINSON'S
AWARENESS DAY
Parkinson's
is a neurological condition that is estimated to effect around 4,000 West
Australians and 50,000 Australia-wide. On Sunday 16 September the
Parkinson's Association will hold their annual Awareness Day in the Park
from 10am to 4pm and will include:-

Sizzle
Tai Chi
demonstration
Square
Dancing display
The
Kelmscott Senior High School Concert Band

ARALUEN
TRAIN AND ELECTRIC SCOOTERS
The
Araluen train will be running through Springtime. Electric scooters and
wheelchairs are available for those with mobility restrictions.

A
courtesy bus service will operate on weekdays commencing 20 August, which
will pick up from the Kelmscott Railway Station to Araluen. Pick up times
are 10.30am & 11.30am and returning at 1pm & 2pm.
