Scitech's
Terrorsaurus Display
If
you wanted to check out animals from all over the world, you would
probably decide to visit a zoo.
But
where can you go to see creatures that haven’t been around for 65
million years?
Scitech’s
new exhibition, Terrorsaurus, takes visitors back in time on a journey
into the lost world of dinosaurs.
Come
face-to-face with enormous, moving, roaring, life-like dinosaurs and a
nest of adorable hatchlings. These prehistoric reptiles will come to life
before your very eyes- just make sure you know which ones are carnivorous!
Recreate
a dinosaur stampede, use your lungs to create different dinosaur sounds
and make up your own mind about how dinosaurs became extinct.
You
can also take the Deinonychus Dash, where you can race a dinosaur to the
finish line. Or put yourself into the prehistoric picture, by sharing the
small screen with dinosaurs on DTV.
Developed
by Questacon- The National Science and Technology Centre, Terrorsaurus
invites visitors to be amazed by what the scientists have discovered about
creatures that lived many millions of years ago.
Terrorsaurus
will be open to the public until the 15 October 2001. You’d have to be a
fossil to miss it!

Quolkids review
– Definitely worth a visit for all those budding palaeontologists!
Our six year old thought it was fantastic, although her little sister
found the dinosaurs a bit daunting. An excellent exhibition, well put
together, informative and lots of opportunity to interact. Recommended for
5+ year olds.
