Indication of Potential
Funding Support
Now
that we have a list of potential ecovillage sites we have now reached the
point whereby it is necessary for us to assess the limits of our
communities resources. To this end we wish to ask you to give an
indication of your potential for financial commitment to the project. It
is vital for the next steps in the project that we have a clear
understanding of our groups’ financial capability. When approaching
either a landowner or any other organisation we need to have the
confidence that subject to finding the right property, the resources are
available for us to proceed. Depending on the findings from this exercise
we will then be able to formulate the most effective way to move forward.
To this end we have a brief set of questions that in no way are a
commitment to purchase and will in all circumstances be held in the
strictest confidence.
Please
Note: If you do not have any funds available but are still keen to support
the project please put Zero in the amount below and outline your situation
in the comments box so we better understand where you are placed both now
and in the future. This is also very important.
This
indication is not how much you are prepared to pay for a lot. It is
however what you would be prepared to invest in this project in order to
assist it in becoming a reality. As this funding will be required long
before lots will become available, your indication of potential funding
support should represent funds that are available to you prior to any lots
being available.
We understand that
before you can decide whether you would be involved in this project you
require more detailed specific information – this will be provided
before any funds will be required. So for this exercise if you view it
from the perspective that you have all required information and that this
project does meet your requirements that would be very helpful to the
project.
Based
on this ecovillage meeting all my requirements I would be able to contribute
the following amount to this project:
